From gross motor movement and fine manipulatives to our weekly crafts we provide a fun and educational experience for both children and adults. No pre-registration required, just drop in! We are open on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 9:00 am to 2:30 pm. We also provide weekly crafts to help engage and stimulate children's creativity. At Ride & Play, we believe in fostering a safe and welcoming environment for all families to come and play together. During wet weather and winter months, footwear is removed at the entrance/common room. You are welcome to wear indoor shoes or slippers. There is stroller parking in this area as well. We have a snack area and request that all food remain in that area to keep allergens on toys to a minimum. Encourage children not to bring the toys to the picnic tables. If they do, please place the toys in a "slime bin" so they can be cleaned. Please use the slime bins if anything has been mouthed as well. The Bouncer is for children 5 and under only - sorry, that means no adults (unless it’s a rescue mission!) Other rules are posted - but most importantly, please supervise your child(ren) and talk to a supervisor if there are any problems. At 11:30 am, and 2:00 pm we have ball time. At 11:30, the ride-on toys are parked in front of the toy room and we pull the blocks to the side. At 2:00pm we pull most toys in front of the toy room before balls etc. are brought out. In a Pinch? We have an Emergency supply of diapers as well as cold gel packs because accidents can happen. If you have any other needs, please ask a staff member for assistance. About Ride & Play Ride & Play is an indoor play place for caregivers and their children aged 0 to 5 years. We are open Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday from 9:00 am to 2:30 pm. Our center provides a safe and fun environment for children to play and explore while caregivers can relax and socialize with other adults. Fawn Fawn is in charge of craft set up and themes each week. She has years of experience working with children and is committed to providing a safe and fun environment for them to grow and learn. When she's not at Ride & Play, Fawn enjoys thrifting, listening to podcasts and baking (mostly cheesecake). Heather Heather is a warm and welcoming staff member who ensures that every child has a positive experience at Ride & Play. She makes sure toys are cleaned regularly and preps the craft. In her free time, Heather enjoys needle crafts, beading and cooking. Izzy Izzy is an experienced caregiver who is passionate about providing children with a nurturing and stimulating environment. She runs Ride & Play over the summer and is relief for Heather or Fawn when they are away. In her spare time, Izzy enjoys spending time with her niece and nephews and exploring Winnipeg's many restaurants.
